Engineering
For the implementation and evaluation of corrosion protection in the environment of external influencing factors, design, planning and optimisation with engineering methods in the sense of a technically and economically optimised solution are required.
Alternating current corrosion risk
In connection with the high-voltage influence of CP systems, alternating voltages occur on the buried lines, which result in an alternating current corrosion risk.
Assessment of condition
The condition assessment of cathodically protected and unprotected objects according to DVGW GW 18 and DVGW GW 19 provides the basis for asset management and maintenance of underground objects.
Consulting
In the environment of the various subject areas of the CP and the topics of high-voltage and stray current influence as well as contact and lightning protection, we provide advice within the framework of studies and training courses.
Expert report
The CP expert is used in accordance with DVGW GW 10 B1 for the assessment of the evaluation and certification during the initial proof of the effectiveness of the CP when the corrosion protection system is newly installed. This approach follows the 4-eyes principle of "monitoring" the performance of the expert.
Feasibility study
In the run-up to the application of the CP, a feasibility study can be useful with regard to the strategies of the application, the work to be carried out and the associated costs.
Plausibility assessment
In addition to the direct verification methods for the CP, the effectiveness of the CP can also be determined on the basis of a plausibility assessment in accordance with DVGW Information Gas/Water No. 19.
Stray current influence
The examination of the admissibility and, if necessary, the planning of remedial measures in the case of a time-varying stray current influence due to the operation of tram systems on a CP system is carried out by means of investigations in accordance with DVGW GW 21 and DIN EN 50162.
